Richardson Medical Center is proud to provide comprehensive school-based health services for students across Richland Parish. Our goal is to make high-quality medical and behavioral healthcare convenient, accessible, and free for all students during the school day.
Daily On-Campus Medical & Counseling Support
We staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and licensed mental health providers at:
Start Elementary
Rayville Elementary
Holly Ridge Elementary
These professionals are on campus every school day to care for students who become sick or need support during school hours. Our RNs coordinate directly with our Nurse Practitioner at the main school-based clinic located at Rayville High School to ensure students receive the care they need.
No Cost to Families — Ever
Students never receive a bill for any medical or counseling services received at our school-based clinics.
We bill insurance when available, but:
There are no copays
Families are never responsible for uncovered costs
No student is ever denied care
High-Quality Mental Health Services — Free
Access to licensed mental health providers is extremely limited in many communities. RMC is proud to offer two licensed mental health providers who deliver counseling services at no cost to students or families. These services help students manage stress, emotions, behavioral challenges, and overall well-being.

P.O.P. Shop is a place where any Richland Parish Student in need can receive basic clothing and personal hygiene supplies FREE OF CHARGE!
P.O.P. Shop is a free, donation based program offering access to essential care and hygiene items to students, helping build confidence and restoring hope. Individuals, along with local businesses and organizations, donate charitable supplies which help the students of Richland Parish.
