Christopher R. Smith, MD, is a native of North Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduating with Cum Laude Honors. He then attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences School of Medicine in Shreveport. Upon completion, he accepted a spot in the LSU Family Medicine Residency Program in Alexandria, LA. He has developed a strong interest in emergency and hospital medicine.

Dr. Smith is married with two children. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, hunting, and playing golf.
