My name is William Stansbury. I was born and raised in northeast Louisiana. I attended medical school at Saint James School of Medicine and completed my Family Medicine residency at LSU Alexandria Family Medicine. I am blessed with a wonderful wife, Ashtyn Stansbury, and our newest addition to the family, Wes.
Rural emergency medicine has always been my passion. I have worked as an ER tech and scribe in the emergency department of my hometown, and I also served as a medic in the Louisiana National Guard. I am currently attending an Emergency Medicine Fellowship to further my knowledge in the field.
I am an avid outdoorsman and love to hunt, fish, hike, and do anything else related to wildlife and nature. I also highly value health and fitness. I am very excited to begin my career as a rural emergency medicine physician.
